Delivering an annual portfolio of more than $1.2 billion, our work helps keep energy flowing safely and reliably to communities across Australia while supporting the nation's energy transition. With more than 2,800 people across the east coast, we combine deep industry expertise, a strong safety culture and practical innovation to deliver complex infrastructure for our clients and communities.
We're seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the safe and successful delivery of major high voltage infrastructure either HV substations or HV lines projects across Queensland. This is a site-based leadership role overseeing complex construction activities associated with transmission line and substation projects that are critical to Australia's energy transition.
Working in an environment where accountability matters and decisions are made close to the work, you'll coordinate site delivery teams, contractors and project stakeholders to achieve safety, quality, schedule and commercial outcomes. You'll play a key role in driving construction performance while ensuring risks are effectively managed and project objectives are met.
Key responsibilities include:
You are a practical construction leader who enjoys being close to the work and takes ownership of outcomes. You combine strong technical capability with sound judgement, remain calm under pressure and have a proven track record delivering complex utility infrastructure projects safely and efficiently.
What we do matters. The projects you deliver will help strengthen Australia's electricity network and support the transition to a more sustainable energy future. At Zinfra, you'll have the opportunity to work on some of the country's most significant energy infrastructure programs while being supported by an experienced team committed to delivering safely and efficiently.
Benefits include:
We champion and value diversity in life and work experiences because broader perspectives strengthen our decision-making, innovation and problem-solving.
