*THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE UK WITH THE EXPECTATION OF FREQUENT TRAVEL TO NORTH EAST ENGLAND*
The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring that larger battery storage “turnkey” projects provided by Tesla Energy are built and commissioned to a high degree of quality and in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner.
The Construction Manager is a site based role, responsible for co-ordinating multiple contractors in order to ensure the site interfaces are managed appropriately and that all construction works are delivered in accordance with the approved designs. The Construction Manager plays a key role in the commissioning and handover phases of the project, ensuring that changes agreed during the installation are captured in as built design documentation and that commissioning and testing records are complete.
Experience of delivering and managing commercial / industrial electrical installations is required to perform this role. As well as possessing solid electrical engineering knowledge and the ability to determine the quality of a contractor’s work, this role also requires a strong understanding Health and Safety management.
