The Construction Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating construction projects from design validation through execution, commissioning, and handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved.

  1. Skills and Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent project/construction management credentials.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in construction project delivery, including at least 5 years in a Construction Manager (or equivalent leadership) role, preferably in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Project Delivery Expertise: Proven experience managing end-to-end construction phases (design review, procurement, execution, commissioning) with strong cost, schedule, and quality control. health, Safety & Compliance: Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessment practices, and regulatory compliance, especially within Japan construction and plant environments.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively engage and coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and local authorities, ensuring alignment and timely issue resolution.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate risks, resolve complex technical issues, and make timely decisions under pressure.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent cross-cultural communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present clearly to both site teams and senior leadership
  • Language Proficiency: Business-level Japanese and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Digital & Tools (Preferred): Familiarity with construction/project tools (e.g., MS Project) and structured reporting (cost tracking, progress dashboards).

  1. スキルおよび資格

・建設管理、土木・機械工学、建築、または関連分野における学士号をお持ちの方、もしくは同等のご経験をお持ちの方。

・歓迎条件: PMP、CCMなどのプロジェクト/建設マネジメントに関する資格、またはそれに準ずるご経験をお持ちの方。

・ご経験: 建設プロジェクトの推進において10年以上の実務経験を有し、そのうち5年以上はコンストラクションマネージャーまたはそれに準ずる立場でのご経験をお持ちの方。特に、大規模な工業系・製造業分野でのご経験をお持ちの方は歓迎いたします。

・プロジェクト遂行力: 設計レビュー、調達、施工、コミッショニングに至るまで、一連の建設プロセスに携わったご経験を有し、コスト・スケジュール・品質のバランスを意識したプロジェクト運営ができる方。

・安全・品質・コンプライアンス: HSE(安全・衛生・環境)に関する基本的な理解を有し、リスクアセスメントや法令遵守を意識して業務を遂行いただける方。特に、日本の建設・プラント環境に関する知見をお持ちの方は歓迎いたします。

・ステークホルダー連携: 社内関係部門、協力会社、ベンダー、行政機関などと円滑に連携しながら、課題解決およびプロジェクトの円滑な推進に貢献できる方。

課題対応力・判断力: 状況を的確に把握し、リスクを先読みしながら、必要に応じて関係者と連携しつつ柔軟に対応できる方。

・コミュニケーション力: 異なるバックグラウンドの関係者とも円滑にコミュニケーションが図れ、現場からマネジメント層まで分かりやすく情報共有・報告ができる方。

語学力: 日本語および英語にて、業務遂行に支障のないレベル(読み書き・会話)をお持ちの方。

・デジタル・ツール(歓迎): MS Project等のプロジェクト管理ツールの使用経験や、進捗・コスト管理に関するレポーティングのご経験をお持ちの方。
