Job Title – Construction Manager (Project Manager)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager (Project Manager) to oversee the successful execution of residential, commercial, mixed-use, and real estate development projects. The role is responsible for managing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• 
  Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of construction projects from inception to handover.
• 
  Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• 
  Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved in line with approved timelines.
• 
  Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to address delays or risks.

Construction Management

• 
  Oversee day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
• 
  Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• 
  Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.
• 
  Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project objectives.

Contractor & Consultant Management

• 
  Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• 
  Review contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• 
  Coordinate technical meetings and resolve construction-related issues.
• 
  Ensure timely approval of shop drawings, material submissions, and construction documentation.

Budget & Cost Control

• 
  Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
• 
  Review variations, claims, and change orders.
• 
  Implement cost-control measures while maintaining project quality standards.
• 
  Support procurement and contract administration activities.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• 
  Ensure compliance with local regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards.
• 
  Monitor quality control processes and conduct regular site inspections.
• 
  Ensure all construction activities meet approved quality benchmarks.
• 
  Coordinate project inspections and final handover procedures.

Health, Safety & Environmental Management

• 
  Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across all project sites.
• 
  Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• 
  Ensure compliance with UAE construction safety regulations.
• 
  Foster a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• 
  Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
• 
  Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors, and internal teams.
• 
  Prepare project status reports, risk assessments, and executive updates.
• 
  Present project progress and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 
  PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
• 
  10–18 years of experience in construction and project management within real estate development, contracting, or large-scale construction projects.
• 
  Proven track record of successfully delivering residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
• 
  Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, authority approvals, and project delivery processes.
