Job Description

The Construction Manager will play a vital role in delivering maritime and port infrastructure projects, working closely with the Maritime team. This position requires exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of marine construction to coordinate stakeholders and ensure project success.

  • Oversee and manage the construction of complex maritime and port infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure all works meet AD Ports' technical, safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of construction professionals, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and other project teams.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor construction activities.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with marine and coastal construction environments.
  • Review and approve construction plans, methods, and schedules, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times during construction.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to the project management team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 18 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on marine and coastal projects.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent knowledge of marine and coastal construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Valid professional engineering license or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) preferred.
  • Experience working with international clients and in regional markets is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings as required.
