Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all CSA aspects of data center construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The CSA Construction Manager will work closely with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and architects, to ensure the successful delivery of data center facilities.

  • Lead and manage the CSA aspects of data center construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Independently lead the overall delivery of small to mid sized Data Center projects as a project lead
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for CSA works.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all CSA requirements are met according to project timelines.
  • Daily visit to the site, regular meeting with EPC / consultants / sub-contractors / customers to deal with any rising issues or difficulties
  • Liaise with EPC company, monitor and control the site progress to ensure work completed on-time, within scope and budget
  • Apply accurate risk & opportunity mapping for each project in order to understand the risk & opportunity profile and define proper risk mitigation with regards to technical and commercial aspects
  • Lead and contribute to the CSA scope development for the project
  • Conduct constructability analysis at different stages of design for consideration into design scheme
  • Monitor and control CSA costs, ensuring that they stay within budget.
  • Identify and address potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all CSA -related issues, communicating project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
  • 12+ years of experience in CSA construction management, with at least 5 years focused on data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of data center CSA works including Civil, Structural, Façade, STPs, Roads and landscape works
  • Proven track record of successfully managing CSA aspects of large-scale construction projects, particularly in data center or critical facilities.
  • Good knowledge of interface & interdependencies between CSA and other system like MEPS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security) in Data Center Construction
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to independently lead the delivery of small to mid sized data center projects as a project lead.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to CSA aspects in data centers.
