About the Role

Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Construction Manager to join our team on multiple renewable energy/ construction projects on a 2/1 Roster. Some of your key responsibilities will include;

  • Ability to coach and mentor Senior Supervisors and hold site leadership teams accountable for holding crucial conversations.
  • Effectively utilise people across the Business Unit to achieve project outcomes.
  • Inspire and lead relevant work teams within the Business Unit in all aspects of their employment from wages to safety and quality drives.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Monford Employee Agreements (EA's) and relevant legislation and apply/conduct HR procedures to manage the workforce when required (i.e., grievance and discipline procedures).
  • Champion safety, quality, and environment culture onsite in line with the Monford safety culture.
  • Facilitate, coach and monitor activities to reduce risk i.e., work method statements, workplace inspections, audits, investigation, and risk registers.
  • Ensure HSEQ compliance/reporting is achieved and communicate any changes to relevant policies and procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

  • You will hold the required Degree in Construction Management or similar and have significant previous experience in a similar role on a large construction project, within the resources sector or similar.
  • 10+ years' experience in Senior Supervisors role, managing 200+ resources.
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence & Construction Induction White Card.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams and driving successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in working to and meeting deadlines and project deliverables.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
