Our client is a long established and one of the leading general building main contractors in Hong Kong, they are principally engaged in construction and maintenance projects in Hong Kong and construction projects in Macau. They are inviting a high calibre candidate for the following vacancy:

Construction Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Director / Senior Project Manager in managing the development of a capital project
• Lead project teams to complete the projects on schedule, within budget and at a high level of quality; 
• Responsible for site coordination and supervision of construction progress
• Prepare submission and monitor the safety & quality of the construction site
• Liaise and coordinate with government departments, utilities companies, and external contractors or stakeholders;
• Participate in ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering discipline
• MHKIE (The Hong Kong Institution of Engineering) or equivalent
• C+15 managing construction project
• At least 18 years as MC CM or above (at least 3 years of drill and blast construction of underground tunnel(s) or cavern(s) with the largest transverse cross sectional area of not less than 100 square metres by drill and blast method)
• At least 1-year experience as a PM / CM in NEC Contract or accredited NEC PM and have registered on the list of the concerned institution / institute
