Job Description

Enersense Engineering Oy is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our client's team in Porvoo, Finland. This will be a permanent role and the work will start as soon as possible.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinate, plan and execute installation and assembly operations on site and in the prefabrication workshop with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate records, project documents and progress reports
• Schedule and follow up on-site execution works
• Organize and prepare workplaces for installation works
• Manage tools and material supply
• Lead and supervise company staff and temporary workforce
• Manage subcontractors performance
• Responsible for on-site safety organization and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Support for establishment of welding execution and documentation system
• Support for the establishment of a QA/QC system
• Serve as the on-site contact for customers

Requirements:

• Educational background in mechanical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in managing and supervising piping construction, steel structure and pressure equipment construction sites
• Strong knowledge of site management, including scope, schedule and cost control
• Confident and professional demeanor with all project stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project experience preferred
• Proven leadership and team-working abilities; experience in motivating staff
• Driving license class B; B/C1E desirable
• Willingness to travel for single or multiple days and occasionally for several months to construction sites in Germany and other European countries
• Resilience, flexibility and strong customer orientation
• Good communication skills in Finnish and English, German skills considered an advantage
