Flood Control District
The Construction Management Specialist manages, inspects, coordinates, and jointly manages infrastructure and improvement projects for the Flood Control District.

Though Maricopa County is in a desert, floods occur during two distinct rainy seasons – the summer monsoon and winter frontal rains. Although the Flood Control District has made significant progress over the years, work remains to be done. Successful candidates must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire.
A valid certificate from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) or from the International Code Council (ICC).
Personal protective equipment will be required while on construction sites.
