PuroClean of CharlestonConstruction Laborer
Location: North Charleston/Charleston, SC (reports to the warehouse in North Charleston)

We help customers recover after water damage, fire damage, and mold. This is a veteran-owned operation with a high bar for trust and professionalism. Our teams are in people's homes when they're stressed and vulnerable, so we hire for integrity, reliability, and work ethic. Veterans and candidates with disciplined backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
This is a hands-on field role supporting the Truck Lead. You do not need restoration certifications to be successful here. If you are dependable, physically capable, and take direction well, we can teach you the technical side.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with water mitigation, demolition (cut-out drywall, remove wet materials), cleanup, and site prep
• Set up and move restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, containment materials)
• Help with pack-outs/contents handling and jobsite organization
• Follow PPE and jobsite safety standards
• Support job documentation as instructed (photos, basic notes, measurements)
• Maintain a clean, professional jobsite and respectful customer interactions

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with physical labor in real-world environments (heat, humidity, tight spaces)
• Calm, respectful presence in customer homes and commercial sites
• Any related background is helpful (moving/pack-outs, construction, demolition, detailing, car wash, warehouse, general labor)
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Willing to complete a background check upon a conditional offer
• Willing and able to perform hard physical labor (lifting, carrying, demo work)

Pay, Benefits & Growth

• Full-time or Part-time
• Pay: $18 to $24/hour (based on experience)
• Clear pathway to become a senior technician and Truck Lead as you gain experience/certs
• On-the-job training and support for industry certifications over time (role-dependent)
• PTO/holidays/healthcare options may be available based on role fit and tenure (final details confirmed during hiring)
