LION is seeking a full-time Construction Laborer to join our Operations team. This hands-on role supports skilled tradespeople in the construction of custom Fire Safety Training Trailers and Fire Training Props. The ideal candidate has a foundational knowledge of construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow direction in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Position Details:

Location: 20 Corporate Circle, Albany, NY, 12203

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Starting Rate: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Essential Functions:

  • Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other general construction tasks
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and saws in accordance with common safety practices
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
  • Perform general labor tasks to support production schedules and project deadlines

Education & Experience Qualifications:

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or a related trades
  • General knowledge of construction tasks, common tools and tape measure proficiency
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
  • Willingness to Travel ~10%

Preferred but not required:

  • Familiarity with construction drawings or blueprints
  • Experience with basic electrical construction
  • Experience with welding, brazing, or propane gas piping
