Job Title – Construction Foreman (Civil)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Construction Foreman (Civil) to supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities for civil construction projects. The role involves managing site workers, ensuring work is executed according to drawings and specifications, maintaining safety standards, and supporting smooth and efficient project execution on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

• 
  Supervise daily civil construction activities on-site.
• 
  Ensure all work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• 
  Assign tasks to site workers and monitor productivity and performance.
• 
  Ensure timely completion of assigned work packages and milestones.

Workforce Management

• 
  Lead and manage labor teams, subcontractors, and site workers effectively.
• 
  Coordinate manpower allocation based on site requirements.
• 
  Provide clear instructions and ensure proper execution of tasks.
• 
  Maintain discipline and productivity on-site.

Quality Control & Work Standards

• 
  Ensure workmanship meets required quality standards and project specifications.
• 
  Inspect ongoing and completed work to identify defects or deviations.
• 
  Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to resolve site issues.
• 
  Support implementation of corrective actions when required.

Site Coordination & Reporting

• 
  Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors.
• 
  Report daily progress, site issues, and manpower status to supervisors.
• 
  Assist in planning daily and weekly work schedules.
• 
  Ensure smooth coordination between different construction activities.

Health & Safety Compliance

• 
  Enforce safety rules and regulations at the construction site.
• 
  Ensure workers follow proper safety procedures and use PPE.
• 
  Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe practices immediately.
• 
  Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Material & Equipment Handling

• 
  Monitor proper use of construction materials and tools.
• 
  Ensure efficient utilization and minimize wastage of resources.
• 
  Coordinate with storekeepers and site engineers for material requirements.
• 
  Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is an advantage.
• 
  5–12 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in construction or real estate development projects.
• 
  Strong knowledge of civil construction activities including structural, finishing, and infrastructure works.
• 
  Experience in UAE construction projects is preferred.
