Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Ops Manager and Director of Construction to track priority needs of day to day project operations;
  • Coordinate delivery of Materials between warehouse locations and projects;
  • Assist in movement of fleet vehicles;
  • Track purchase orders for Construction team and schedule site delivery;
  • Coordinate pick-up and deliveries of UTVs;
  • Assist in fleet maintenance and inspections;
  • Maintain inventory of pertinent tools, equipment, system components, and hardware;
  • Perform minor repairs and/or maintenance as needed to assigned equipment;
  • Accurately respond to inquiries on parts ordered and shipment status, providing stock availability;
  • Assist Director of Construction and Operations Manager in resolving concerns with shipment, shortages and cancellation of orders for the Construction team;
  • Operate various equipment in the support of Solar Site Operations varying from telehandler, lull, outdoor forklift, backhoe, skid steer, trencher, track hoe, loader, dozer, mini excavator and other like equipment.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Construction and Construction Operations Manager

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in construction environment +
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel +
  • Must have ability to communicate clearly
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

The majority of this work is performed in a field environment and requires travel/overnight stays. Will be required to perform physical labor. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 30 pounds.
