We’re looking for a detail-driven Construction Estimator to handle restoration projects from initial inspection through estimate approval and job handoff. This role is heavily focused on writing accurate estimates, coordinating with subcontractors and adjusters, and guiding customers through the early stages of the project.

This is a great fit for someone who understands insurance-based restoration work and can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to new leads within 2–4 hours and schedule inspections
• Perform on-site inspections and document scope of loss
• Coordinate emergency or temporary services when needed
• Obtain and review subcontractor bids
• Prepare detailed estimates including sketches, photos, and material specifications
• Submit estimates to insurance adjusters within required timelines
• Review approved estimates with customers and secure contracts/authorizations
• Assist customers with material selections and project expectations
• Compile job documentation including mortgage information and payment schedules
• Order specialty materials and prepare job files for production
• Coordinate with production team to ensure a smooth handoff
• Maintain communication with customers and adjusters regarding updates or supplements
• Manage and document change orders as needed
• Assist with draw schedules, inspections, and final invoicing support

Position Requirements

• Experience in restoration, construction estimating, or insurance claims required
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Xactimate preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Compensation: $63,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
