The Opportunity | Open to Sydney & Newcastle Region
We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Engineering Team Lead to join our Construction Technical Services function.
This is a newly created leadership role that will play a key part in building the capability, structure, and maturity of our construction engineering team. You will help shape how the team supports construction delivery, embeds standards and procedures, and partners with project, construction, design, commissioning, and delivery teams. This is a hands-on leadership role. While the role can be based from any Transgrid office or depot, regular travel to project sites will be required to provide visible leadership, support the team, and stay closely connected to delivery works.

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of construction engineering subject matter experts, supporting them to grow their capability and deliver high-quality support to the business.
You will work closely with construction leaders, delivery managers, commissioning teams, design teams, governance and assurance, project development teams, and delivery partners to ensure construction engineering input is embedded early and effectively across the delivery lifecycle.
