We are looking for a Construction Coordinator to join the team!
In this role, you will support complex engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects that contribute to world-class scientific research. Working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, tradespeople, and technical teams, you will help coordinate on-site activities, support project execution, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project requirements.

• Thrive in a hands-on environment: Comfortable being on site supporting contractors, tradespeople, technicians, and project teams to keep work progressing safely and efficiently
• Strong coordination skills: Able to manage multiple priorities, track project activities, support schedules, and maintain organized documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Technically minded: Able to read and interpret construction, mechanical, and electrical drawings and communicate effectively with technical teams
• Detail oriented and proactive Confident identifying issues, documenting site conditions, escalating risks, and supporting corrective actions before they impact project timelines
• Tech savvy: Comfortable using project management and documentation tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Construction Coordinator will assist the Project Managers in handling job site activities, reviewing site conditions, supporting the field staff with scope execution and oversight in compliance with construction documents and additional tasks as they relate to on-site work process.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The Construction Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Project Management and takes instruction on a day-to-day basis an assigned Project Managers from the Project Management Office (PMO).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Construction Coordinator will support project managers and PMO by coordinating construction work performed by external contractors and inhouse tradespeople, technicians and other staff.

NUCLEAR ENERGY WORKER:
The incumbent will be required to complete the TRIUMF in-house radiation safety training course and be designated as a TRIUMF Nuclear Energy Worker.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
