
Job Description
Performs basic tasks related to construction, maintenance and repairs of building structures and systems, using a variety of tools and equipment.
Job Responsibility
1.Basic utilization of tools and measuring instruments to assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of building structures and systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety protocols.
2.Assist in the preparation and installation of building components, and other structural elements, following detailed instructions and construction plans.
3.Coordinates and cooperates with trade-specific mechanical systems on basic assignments.
4.Responds to building emergencies and works closely with Supervisors to rectify issues in a timely manner. Participates in 24/7 “on call” on a rotational basis (fire alarms, utility interruption, storm emergencies, physical issues).
5.Perform basic troubleshooting of construction-related issues, escalating complex situations to higher-level staff for resolution.
6.Ensures new machines are prepared for operation following protocols and procedures, and performs regular technical testing to ensure their safety and efficiency.
7.Collects basic data on machine operation, and suggests actions to reduce machine downtime.
8.Assists in the demolition of building elements, and cleans up areas as needed.
9.Maintain broad working knowledge of construction practices and techniques, staying updated with relevant safety procedures.

Job Qualification
•High School Diploma or equivalent required.
•0-1 years of technical experience, required.
•Must be able to carry 60 lbs.
•Valid NY State driver’s license, required.
