Summary: The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that the physical condition of the construction project satisfies ownership and management objectives. This role works with the Lead Superintendent & Project Manager coordinating and managing all necessary project resources from start to finish on time and within budget in a highly collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities: Including but not limited to
- Drive operations to manage all projects in a timely manner while focus on safety and quality.
- Develop and maintain strong, productive supplier and trade contractor relationships. Communicate company’s quality and performance standards to each trade contractor and supplier. Conduct periodic work inspections to ensure that those standards are met.
- Serve as a leader to build and develop a strong team to support and sustain profitable growth and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth for our team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to increase profitable and sustainable growth.
- Manage Subcontractors and Vendors to surpass customer expectations, minimize risk, and lower cost.
- Read and interpret established scope of work.
- Plan specifications to ensure complete understanding of all project requirements.
- Develop project plans, phases and schedules and effectively communicate plan and schedule changes, alternate work assignments, change orders and scope revisions to the project team.
- Accurately project cost to complete based on intimate job knowledge and experience to eliminate financial surprises, effectively manage the project and provide accurate costing feedback to estimating.
- Oversee administrative deliverables to minimize risk and allow for timely and accurate decisions.
- Must have good communication skills, written skills, computer skills and people skills that represent the integrity and philosophy of the Company.
Job Requirements &

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an assistant superintendent.
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in the field.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Must have strong knowledge and experience with all applicable Florida building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and construction management software.
- OSHA certification and other relevant certifications/licenses are preferred.
