R+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Construction team at the Wilmington, OH Service Center. This position provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily operations within the department.

The ideal candidate will be professional, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including phone coverage, document creation and editing (Microsoft Office), photocopying, typing, filing, and ordering office supplies.
• Process purchase orders (P.O.s) and vendor invoices using ORACLE.
• Manage and track assigned tickets in TEAMWORK software to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide support to the Office Manager, especially during staff absences.
• Collaborate with the office manager and construction managers to obtain approvals, project scopes, and guidance as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience providing executive administrative support in a fast-paced corporate setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of administrative support experience within the construction industry.

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and take ownership of assigned tasks.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify solutions.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

• Professional communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• High dependability with strong work ethic.

• Flexibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to evolving processes or changes.
