Job Description

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Execution Lead to drive execution of ConnectWealth, a flagship transformation focused on modernizing investment platforms, enhancing advisor experience, and enabling the next generation of wealth management capabilities.

As a Vice President, Strategic Execution Lead for ConnectWealth, you will sit at the intersection of Investments, Product, Technology, and Operations and is responsible for translating strategy into measurable business outcomes. Acting as the central execution leader, the successful candidate will drive alignment across stakeholders, manage critical dependencies, accelerate decision-making, and ensure delivery of an integrated transformation roadmap.

This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to shape how Wealth Management delivers strategic change through technology modernization, AI-enabled productivity, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead execution of a complex, multi-year transformation that spans cross lines of business and functions.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans, measurable outcomes, and delivery commitments.
  • Drive accountability and execution discipline across a diverse set of stakeholders and teams.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Dependency Management

  • Serve as the connective tissue across Investments, Product, Technology, and Operations.
  • Lead resolution of cross-functional dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and competing priorities.
  • Build alignment and momentum across teams to accelerate decision-making and execution.

Executive Reporting & Strategic Storytelling

  • Create C-suite-ready materials for executive reporting, leadership offsites, steering committees, and strategic updates.
  • Translate complex program execution, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs into clear, decision-ready narratives.
  • Develop polished, data-driven materials that highlight business impact, key outcomes, decisions, and required leadership actions.
  • Ensure executive communications are concise, visually compelling, and focused on driving alignment and results.

Investment Platform Leadership

  • Partner with Investments and Product leaders to ensure platform capabilities support investment strategies, investment workflows, and managed account solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of wealth management operating models and investment lifecycle processes to inform execution decisions and roadmap priorities.

AI-Native Delivery & Productivity

  • Champion AI-enabled ways of working to improve planning, reporting, analysis, governance, and decision-making.
  • Drive adoption of AI and automation to increase productivity, improve transparency, and reduce execution friction.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Control teams to incorporate AI considerations into platform strategy, delivery, and operating models.

Leadership

  • Influence and lead cross-functional teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, transparency, and execution excellence.
  • Represent the program in executive governance and leadership forums.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 10+ years leading strategic initiatives, transformations, or complex cross-functional programs.
  • Experience within wealth management, investments, managed accounts, or investment platform delivery.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale business and technology transformations.
  • Expertise in strategic execution, dependency management, organizational alignment, and executive governance.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency and practical application of AI to improve productivity, decision-making, and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, including development of C-suite presentations, leadership offsite materials, and strategic narratives.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and business-to-technology delivery.
