About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Connections Team, connecting with callers,
donors and sponsors at TheLight. As a Connections Team Member, you will support
current campaigns, Donor Care programs, and other projects assigned to the Connections Team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our listeners through some of life’s challenges, and in sharing the impact TheLight has had on their lives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

·Connect with listeners to acquire financial support primarily through telefundraising during campaigns

·Conduct “Thank You” calls to donors thanking them for their support throughout the year

·Connect with the extended Light family on behalf of other Departments in the organisation

·Be a point of contact to assist our listeners in various ways they may need support with life challenges

·To connect with listeners and encourage the sharing of how 89.9 TheLight has impacted their life

·Conduct other phone/connection functions with listeners/donors/sponsors as required

About You

We are seeking a friendly, self-motivated and compassionate person to join our CT Team. To
thrive in this role you will have:

·Excellent communication skills and computer skills

·Ability to work independently within a team environment

·A servant heart

·Ability to listen well and communicate clear messages to listeners

·Passionate desire to help support others

·Adaptable

·Ability to builds relationships quickly with callers and achieve KPIU outcomes for calls
