Make Your Work Matter Every Day
Are you ready to do more than just work a job?
What if your first employment experience could give you the confidence, skills, and support you need to build a successful future?
Our Café Employment Initiative is designed for young adults who are in foster care or who have aged out of care and are ready for the next step. Through meaningful, hands-on work in a café setting, you'll have the opportunity to earn a paycheck while developing the real-world skills employers are looking for.
From preparing food and beverages to welcoming customers, managing a register, maintaining a clean workspace, and working as part of a team, you'll gain employment skills that can help you succeed in your next job—and beyond.
This is more than a job. It's an opportunity to build confidence, discover your strengths, develop your professional skills, and create a foundation for long-term independence.
Why Join Our Café?

As a Café Crew member, you'll be an important part of our café team while developing the skills and experience needed to succeed in the workforce. You'll receive hands-on training in daily café operations while working alongside supportive staff who are invested in your growth.
You'll have opportunities to learn how to provide excellent customer service, prepare food and beverages, operate a point-of-sale system, handle money, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, communicate effectively, and work successfully as part of a team.
We know being a young adult can come with unique challenges. That's why this opportunity is designed to be more than a workplace. It's a place to learn, grow, make mistakes, build confidence, and discover what you're capable of.
This isn't just a job—it's a first step toward a career, greater independence, and the future you want to build.
