Congress Project manager, Life science and pharma, BCD Meetings & Events Italy

Fulltime, located in Italy (preferably near Milan or Florence)

As a Congress Project Manager, you will be part of an international team, responsible for overall Project Management of assigned congresses, partnering with internal planning team members to ensure timely service delivery, congress owner management, Professional Congress Organizers (PCO) relationships, budget management, compliance, and contracting documentation of assigned congresses.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Securing and managing hotel room blocks and registrations in accordance with Congress rules and procedures
• Budget creation, management, and reconciliation
• Handling day to day client inquiries
• Ensuring all compliance requirements and guidelines are followed and properly documented
• Coordinating on-site job responsibilities with on-site logistics team
• Overseeing accuracy for all assigned congresses in the technology tool (Cvent)
• Being primary client contact with regards to all logistical arrangements surrounding congress.
• Overseeing client registration and reporting questions.

YOU ARE GOOD AT

• Being detail-oriented
• Experience with congress management within life science industry
• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong customer relations skills and customer-facing skills
• Problem solving and decision-making ability

• Proficiency in software programs - Word, Excel, Cvent
• Managing more programs simultaneously

The salary range for the role is between 30.000 euro and 33.000 euro gross per year. The actual pay will depends on your qualifications, skills and experience.
