POSITION OVERVIEW

The Conform is responsible for unwrapping coils, baskets or reels and properly tagging, welds metal wire ends together to feed through machine, sets up machine per order requirements, consistently monitors machine processes to ensure proper settings and quality, weighs completed reel and completes paperwork, records and enters data. This position uses and reads micrometers to measure wire, places completed reel in designated location, and communicates with supervisors & associates.
Primary Responsibilities

� Unwraps coils, baskets or reels and properly tags, welds metal wire ends together to feed through machine

� Sets up machine per order requirements, consistently monitoring machine processes to ensure proper settings and quality

� Weighs completed reel and completes paperwork, records and enters data, using and reading micrometers to measure wire

� Places completed reel in designated location and communicate with supervisors & associates

Education Requirements

� High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum Experience Required

� Entry level

License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required

� Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions

� Ability to follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices. Maintain cleanliness of work area.

� Ability to use tools including wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computer
