Mission Overview:

We are seeking a Confluence Specialist for a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing clear governance in Atlassian Confluence and migrating documentation from Azure DevOps to Confluence. As a consultant, you will tackle technical and strategic challenges while contributing to the professional development of your career.

Objectives of the Mission:

• Understand business, operational, and organizational needs related to documentation.
• Define a clear, sustainable Confluence governance aligned with Atlassian best practices.
• Design the target documentation architecture (spaces, hierarchy, permissions, templates, labels).
• Prepare, orchestrate, and execute the migration of documentation from Azure DevOps to Confluence.
• Ensure a scalable, maintainable, and future-proof solution.
• Support teams in adopting new standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analysis & Framing: Map existing documentation in Azure DevOps, identify business needs, current usage, and pain points, and define documentation governance objectives.
• Definition of Confluence Governance: Establish rules for creating spaces, pages, and templates; define structuring, naming, permissions, and archiving standards; outline roles and responsibilities; implement Atlassian best practices.
• Documentation Architecture: Design the target architecture: spaces, page hierarchy, page templates, labels, permissions; document the architecture in a Confluence Blueprint.
• Migration Azure DevOps → Confluence: Define migration strategy (automated, semi-automated, manual); prepare necessary scripts or tools; clean, consolidate, and restructure documentation before migration; execute migration and validate content quality; ensure documentation continuity during transition.
• Support & Adoption: Train teams on new standards; produce user guides and best practices; provide advisory and challenge roles to teams.

Required Skills (Technical + Methodological):

• Proven expertise in Confluence Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian best practices.
• Experience in documentation migration (ideally Azure DevOps → Confluence).
• Proficiency in Atlassian APIs and migration tools.
• Familiarity with useful marketplace apps.
• Able to translate business needs into documentation architecture.
• Strong sense of standardization, governance, and documentation quality.
• Ability to structure and formalize blueprints.

• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advisory posture, pedagogy, and ability to challenge.

Expected Deliverables:

• Analysis of existing documentation in Azure DevOps.
• Detailed migration strategy.
• Confluence architecture blueprint.
• Documentation of standards, rules, and best practices.
• Complete Confluence governance.
• Post-migration documentation and user guides.

Profile Sought:

Confluence Specialist / Knowledge Management. Proven experience in documentation governance and migration. Experience in framing, auditing, or designing Confluence architecture. Azure DevOps experience is a plus.
