Job Description

We're looking for personnel with a solid technical foundation, a deep understanding of configuration control for complex systems, and a track record of increasing responsibility. From managing change processes to leading enterprise-level configuration efforts, your work will directly impact the safety and efficiency of U.S. airspace.

• Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, or science with 8 – 15 years of relevant experience
• Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience
• Familiarity with FAA’s NAS Configuration Management policies and tools
• Experience with enterprise-level CM tools such as DOORS, ClearCase, or equivalent
• Proven success managing multi-site, cross-functional teams Tasks:
• Lead configuration life-cycle planning through execution for multiple NAS programs to include experience in acquisition CM requirements.
• Oversee configuration audits, discrepancy resolution, and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with FAA stakeholders to align configuration documentation and processes with operational needs
• Mentor junior staff in configuration best practices and standards
• Ensure readiness for deployment through rigorous configuration validation and documentation control
