
Conference Technician Team Leader

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Conference Technician Team Leader to join our dynamic Conference team.
Based primarily at County Hall, Preston, this role involves travel to various sites across Lancashire and reports directly to the Business Development and Technical Operations Manager
As a skilled technician with strong audio-visual expertise, you’ll understand the importance of managing multiple technical setups for a wide range of meetings and events. Your responsibilities will include:
In addition to your technical capabilities, you’ll lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of our technical team. This includes overseeing the delivery of meetings, conferences, and formal council committee sessions, ensuring all AV elements are executed to a high standard.
You’ll also be responsible for:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, confident interpersonal abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Please note: This role requires a valid UK driving licence and qualifies for essential car user status
While the role primarily operates Monday to Friday, flexibility is required to support occasional evening and weekend events based on client and event needs.
