As the Conference & Event Manager, you will be the driving force behind our events, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly. From intimate boardroom meetings to grand celebrations, you will lead the team to deliver exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all conference, banquet and meeting events from start to finish

• Work closely with guests to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

• Lead and train the banquet and meeting team to maintain exceptional service standards.

• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring seamless operations.

• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.

• Collaborate with other departments (kitchen, housekeeping, restaurants etc.) to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle last-minute changes or challenges with professionalism and composure.

• Represent Hotel Norge at relevant events, actively promoting the hotel as a preferred venue and building strong relationships with key companies and networks in Bergen.

Skills:

• Proven experience in banquet, meeting, or event management (preferably in hospitality).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage, and inspire teams.
• Confident and articulate, with the ability to foster positive working relationships.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian (both written and verbal).
