A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

• Leading the planning, coordination and successful delivery of meetings, conferences and events from enquiry through to completion.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional event experiences.

• Managing event enquiries, preparing tailored proposals and contracts, and maximising sales opportunities to drive revenue.

• Overseeing the accuracy of all event bookings, function sheets and operational details within the Sales & Catering system.

• Monitoring event performance, preparing reports and analysing results to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Conducting pre-event meetings, communicating client requirements to operational teams, and ensuring all event specifications are delivered.

What we need from you

•Fluent in spoken and written English; additional language skills are an advantage.

• Previous experience in conference and events management, hotel sales, or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.

• Proven ability to manage meetings, conferences and events from planning through to successful execution.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as business requires
