THE PURPOSE

As a Condition Monitoring Specialist, you will be part of Prognostics & Health Management, seated in the global Service department at Nordex. You will join a dynamic and international department working on challenging and high-value projects. In Prognostics & Health Management, we use state-of-the-art methods and tools to monitor our global wind turbine fleet.

YOUR TASKS

  • Daily condition monitoring of wind turbines
  • Event based reporting to local service organisation with actionable recommendations.
  • Reporting to local service organisation with actionable recommendations.
  • Following up and updating reported failures according to severity of the failure.
  • Supporting local service organisation for taking decisions of condition based repairs.



YOUR PROFILE

  • You should have a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Have experience in condition monitoring especially in vibration analysis and oil analysis.
  • Familiar with operational aspects and procedures concerning diagnostics and analyses.
  • Feel comfortable working in an English speaking environment (strong written and verbal skills in English needed).
  • Be motivated, open minded and transparent team player.
  • Are a certified vibration analyst ISO CAT II.
  • Have worked previously with gearboxes or drive trains.
  • Have field experience of investigating mechanical issues with vibration analyses.
  • Are familiar with vibration measurement hardware and network communications.
  • Have experience to work with databases, signal processing and acoustics.
