To generate net requirements to plants and vendors, to prepare the supply plan, to generate the deployment plan in weekly/monthly buckets and the replenishment of R&P materials, in order to meet the customer demand. In doing this, the Concurrent Planner takes into account network complexity, inventory targets, and all supply constraints. When necessary, the Concurrent Planner generates supply scenarios, evaluating their feasibility, risks, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate production requirements from the signed-off demand plan, respecting inventory targets and considering network complexity and supply constraints.
• Ensure the produced goods are reaching the market to avoid any out-of-stock risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders (i.e., Manufacturing) in the 18-months horizon. • Provide up-to-date Master Data and system alignment with realistic production process.
• Run what-if scenarios to resolve supply / demand gaps and determine feasibility of scenario solution based on business requests.
• Bring attention to potential supply issues in advance. Provide a thorough analysis of the impacts of proposed actions and associated trade-offs. Ensure actions and supply plans are realistic and achievable.
• Review with the Inventory Analyst the agreed inventory targets and work towards reducing these targets without putting at risk the availability of products.
• Run weekly and monthly production review meetings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the fulfilment of the role’s objectives.
What will make you successful:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Economics
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or MBA • +5 years of experience in supply planning, distribution planning or/and logistics role
• +3 years of experience working with different ERP systems (ideally OMP)
• +2 years of experience working in a multinational environment
• Exposure to working in a multinational setting, where they have gained experience navigating diverse cultural dynamics, managing cross-border operations, and coordinating with global stakeholders. They should be adaptable and culturally sensitive, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds and locations to achieve common supply chain objectives.
