Job Description

The Superintendent is a field leadership position responsible for overseeing field execution, workforce leadership, operational performance, and customer satisfaction within their assigned geographic market for Innovative Concrete. This role leads and develops Foremen and field teams executing concrete construction work under General Contractors across private and federal construction sectors.

The Superintendent is ultimately responsible for ensuring projects are properly planned, staffed, coordinated, executed safely, and delivered productively while maintaining Innovative Concrete’s operational standards, culture, and reputation. This role is hands-on in the field as a leader responsible for driving accountability, consistency, training, mentorship, and execution of excellence across projects.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of concrete construction means and methods
• Advanced understanding of production management and labor efficiency

• Workforce planning and crew management experience
• Strong understanding of project sequencing and logistics
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts
• Strong customer relationship and conflict resolution skills
• Experience working with General Contractors on complex projects
• Understanding of federal project requirements preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience mentoring and developing field leaders
• Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements
• Strong operational problem-solving capabilities
