Concrete Form Setters (Carpenters) & Finishers

Job Bridge Globals client is an industry leader in the heavy civil construction sector, specializing in bridge rehabilitation and construction. We are looking for Concrete Form setters (Carpenters) & Finishers to join our team.

Wages are $CAD 24.00 per hour. Over time paid after 48 hours.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Building and setting up formwork

· Pour and vibrate concrete

· Finish concrete

· Strip forms in a safe manner

· Assists other workers with general labour activities when required

· Adapt easily to different formwork systems

· Work with a variety of hand tools, power tools and equipment used in concrete construction.

· General housekeeping duties

You should have:

2-3 years experience in building & setting forms in the heavy civil construction industry

Able to read standard formwork drawings

Dependable work attendance

A positive attitude and teamworking skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to safety, following all rules and regulations

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
