  • Place and tie rebar, and install anchor bolts, embeds, and bollard sleeves per the plans.
  • Coordinate with the electrician to confirm conduit stub-ups are correctly located and protected before each pour.
  • Verify layout, elevations, and dimensions against the plans prior to placement.
  • Place, consolidate, screed, float, trowel, and apply broom or other specified finishes.
  • Build ADA-compliant sidewalks, ramps, and accessible parking pads to required slopes and dimensions.
  • Apply curing compounds and implement hot- and cold-weather concrete protection.
  • Tool control joints
  • Patch, repair, and restore existing concrete and hardscape.
  • Install bollards, wheel stops, and other site protection features.
  • Assist the construction lead with scheduling concrete deliveries and pump trucks.
  • Support special inspectors with field testing, such as slump tests and cylinder sampling.
  • Maintain company provided tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Cross-train in and support excavation, backfill, and other team tasks as needed.
  • Complete any other assignments and special projects as requested by the construction lead and by management.
  • Adhere to safety requirements and participate in safety meetings. Wear all required and appropriate PPE while on the jobsite.

Qualifications and General Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience as a concrete finisher on commercial construction projects.
  • Hands-on experience with formwork, rebar placement, and embedded items.
  • Ability to read plans and details and work to required tolerances.
  • Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, curing, and weather protection practices.
  • Experience in the safe use of hand-held power tools and finishing equipment (power trowels, vibrators, saws).
  • Must have OSHA 10 certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Strong dedication to safety with a commitment to following safety protocols.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior OSHA training for concrete work.
  • Experience with electrical, telecom, or utility projects, including electrical equipment pads, precast vaults, or utility-standard foundations.
