Supply Chain Lead

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, customer-focused team member with strong leadership potential to join the Heidelberg Materials Australia team in Sale, Victoria (approximately 2.5 hours east of Melbourne).

You don’t need prior concrete or batching experience — we’re looking for the right person with the right attitude, and we’ll provide full training.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with early morning starts and rostered Saturday work based on business needs.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of a concrete batch plant, taking ownership of outcomes and setting a positive example for others

• Operate a front-end loader (training provided if required)

• Communicate regularly with customers, including taking orders, scheduling deliveries, and resolving queries professionally

• Use computer-based systems for batching, scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping

• Work collaboratively with a high-performing local team and neighbouring sites, showing leadership and initiative

• Promote a strong safety culture and demonstrate coaching or mentoring capability

• Ensure products meet strict quality standards, with strong attention to detail

• Monitor plant and equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as required

• Plan, organise, and manage maintenance and production tasks, including some manual handling

What we offer:

• Competitive hourly rate starting at $30.35, with higher rates up to $33.36/hour based on experience and competency

• Monday–Friday work with rostered Saturday mornings (finishing around lunchtime)
