Job Description

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking a Concierge- Part Timer to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

• Work with an international team of 16 concierge professionals representing 8 nationalities.
• Join one of Tokyo's largest concierge teams and learn from experienced colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

• Please note that this is not a front-facing guest service role. The position is primarily desk-based and involves handling guest correspondence, reservations, and travel arrangements.
• Communicating with guests via email prior to their stay.
• Researching and booking restaurants and local experiences.
• Arranging transportation, including Train tickets, theater tickets, and various other travel-related services
• Ensure good service recovery and review the Guest Feedback for timely follow up.
• Communicate and cooperate with all departments (Front Desk, Guest Relations, Guest Services, Reservations, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage) to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain accurate information recording by updating internal system and share information received from suppliers within the team.

Requirements

• Prior experience in customer services, email management/support from fast pace environment
• Fluency in English in writen and verbal communication. Japanese language is an advantage
• Ability to work on weekdays, minimum 20+ hours per week. Working schedule is negotiable
