Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
The Concierge greets and directs guests. Provides administrative support. Serves as initial point of contact for guests entering facilities.
Additional Department Summary: Responsible for greeting and directing guests of The University of Alabama when entering Rose Administration and/or the President’s Office. Provides administrative support to the Office of the President and Capstone Men and Women, including assisting with planning of tour schedules for prospective students and guests to campus. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external constitutes. Creates an environment of professionalism and hospitality in their interactions with campus visitors and valued guests.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to search, manipulate and use various database programs. Must also be able to accurately and quickly navigate the UA website and other websites to direct individuals appropriately. Must be able to use copiers, printers, and phone.
