Position Details
Title: Concierge
Location: Empire Office – Atlanta Showroom at The Battery
Schedule: Part-time with a flexible schedule. Hours may exceed 24 per week depending on business needs and event schedules.
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated team member to support day-to-day operations in our design-focused furniture showroom. This role is a great fit for individuals interested in Hospitality, Event Management, Interior Design, or a related field who enjoy working in a client-facing environment and want hands-on experience.
The primary in-showroom days are Tuesday through Thursday. From time to time, there may be opportunities to assist on Mondays or Fridays to support events or client visits, so some flexibility is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and hosting showroom tours and client events
- Greet visitors and create a warm, professional first impression
- Coordinate vendor appointments and product presentations
- Organize and maintain the showroom’s material library and visual displays
- Provide administrative and general coordination support
- Collaborate with the design, sales, and marketing teams

Qualifications

Qualifications & Compensation
- Background or interest in Hospitality, Event Management, Interior Design, or a related field
- Preference for candidates with some experience working in an A&D firm, furniture manufacturer, showroom, or other design-focused environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional, proactive, and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with design software or event planning tools is a plus
