• Perform design analysis and approve concession dispositions for manufacturing non-conformances related to A320 Pylon, A320 Fuselage and A350 Fuselage structures.
• Handling of non-conformities for assembly and sub-assembly concessions by providing technically sound and timely design solutions supported by appropriate engineering justification and documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Stress, Materials & Processes (M&P), Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Airworthiness and Program stakeholders to develop and validate concession solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Airbus design principles, customer requirements, certification standards and concession approval processes while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
• Interface with Design Approval Authorities, Manufacturing Sites and Final Assembly Lines to resolve complex non-conformances and support production continuity.
• Identify efficient analysis methodologies and drive timely resolution of manufacturing issues while balancing technical, cost, schedule and operational constraints.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, support design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the concessions and design approval process.
• Escalate critical technical issues when required and support decision-making through clear communication and risk assessment.
B.E Mech/ AEROSPACE
• Experience working on Airbus concessions either directly for Airbus or the Supply Chain, for a minimum of three years and having held a level of delegated technical approval (T200).• Knowledge across the A320 Pylon, A320 Fuselage and A350 Fuselage. Preferably with both metallic and composite fuselage capabilities and the assembly sequence / MAP process.• Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance.• Knowledge & experience of Airbus concession repair philosophy.• Completed SAP PAC Training Course (21 STRU CONCESSION) and proficient at using SAP PAC for concessions processing.
• A strong previous experience on any Fuselage program with E2E experience by using SAP PEA, PE1 will be added advantage.• Working knowledge of VPM and CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing / model modification and DMU navigation.• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Airbus processes and procedures relating to concessions (A2406.2, M2223.1, M2223.2, ASR, IPC etc.)
• Experience of using Airbus Supply.
• Experience of automation of repeatable tasks / processes.
• Worked as Senior T200, supporting and developing junior engineers towards approver level in conjunction with the MRB Technical Authority and ATMS.
