Our Creative Media team offer a variety of tailormade production services to help realise the full potential of our clients' vision – utilising emerging technologies and working closely with experts, vendors and artists to make creative media.

We're looking for a Concept Designer to join the team for a 12 month fixed-term project.

Our concept designers develop highly original conceptual material, creating compelling visual concepts that bring stories, worlds, characters and environments to life.

Day to day you’ll be:

  • Creating high quality concept artwork, working closely with project leads to execute the vision of the project.
  • Produce environment, architectural/spatial, prop, vehicle, or character concepts as required by each project.
  • Actively participate in blue-sky and concept design brainstorms and design processes.
  • Supporting world-building by contributing visual language, design systems, and style guides.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 3+ Years working in concept art, entertainment design, themed entertainment, games, film, animation, architecture, industrial design, or related industries.
  • An understanding of architectural design, scenic fabrication, or physical production processes.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional concept design, visual development, and environmental storytelling.
  • Excellent skills in Photoshop and 3D tools such as Blender, ZBrush, Cinema 4D, 3DS Max
  • Excellent drawing, composition, lighting, colour and perspective skills – with strong attention to detail.

Additional Information

This role is fixed term, for 6 months, based in Miramar, Wellington.
