Missing Link Security is seeking an experienced COMSEC & Cryptographic Modernization Architect to support an Army G-6 customer at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The successful candidate will work closely with Government officials, decision-makers, Warfighters, technical organizations, vendors, and other contractors to evaluate current capabilities, identify future requirements, and develop policy and modernization recommendations. Preferred Qualifications
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate combines a strong foundation in COMSEC and cybersecurity policy with an understanding of how emerging cryptographic technologies will affect future Government communications and National Security Systems.
This individual does not necessarily need to be a cryptographic algorithm developer or academic researcher. Rather, we are seeking someone who can understand the implications of post-quantum cryptography, communicate those implications to Government decision-makers and Warfighters, and help translate evolving cryptographic standards and technologies into practical COMSEC policy, modernization strategies, transition plans, and implementation recommendations
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating at the intersection of policy, technology, operations, and modernization and working across Government, industry, and Warfighter communities.

One Team, One Mission, One Goal
MLS is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) WOSB specializing in IA security support. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and follow these processes to successfully manage projects spanning information security compliance, security program support, and training and security operations.
MLS has a proven track record of successfully taking FISMA scores from red to green. Our teams' understanding of the Risk Management Frame (RMF) process is unparalleled from a SDVOSB perspective and our Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) are some of the best in the industry. We have excellent CPARs ratings and a strong past performance record. At DHS CS&C we strengthened their security posture and supported the Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Our team created a security newsletter that is still distributed each month and conducted security training for incoming federal employees that is still in effect today. While at DHS NPPD we helped bring their FISMA scores from an F to an A+. In 2007, and 2011, our ISSOs were named DHS ISSO of the year and two of our ISSOs were nominated for the award in 2014. Currently, our ISSOs at DHS S&T have taken the FISMA scores from “worst to first”. Our dedicated team members significantly reduced the POA&Ms at USPTO allowing them to progress their program at a much faster rate. MLS supplies our customers with the highest caliber candidates and keeps the mission on track by keeping attrition rates low.
Our core belief is that there is no single product or process that can provide the necessary security for any IT environment. The best security posture can only be achieved by considering and implementing an Innovative Security Solution by understanding the unique threats to your unique enterprise, mitigating those threats, providing reasonable Risk Management, and providing “Documented Repeatable Processes and Procedures” that will allow your agency to accomplish its mission.
