The Robotics Area within the Division of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at MBZUAI invites applications for a faculty position focused on manipulation, planning, and control for physical AI. We seek candidates whose research connects these areas with human–robot interaction and integrates with physical robotic platforms. We encourage interdisciplinary collaboration across AI, robotics, and related fields. Faculty members will have opportunities to collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, and research institutions to address challenges in physical AI and develop solutions with real-world impact.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring of students, contributing to curriculum development, and will also have the opportunity to collaborate with leading AI researchers. We are seeking faculty at Assistant / Associate Professor Levels.
