The City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of Computer Technician* to fill one (1) vacancy in the Neighborhood Services Division of the Library Department. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months.

The Library Technician performs a wide variety of complex, technical, and advanced clerical library support duties relating to circulation, reference, cataloguing, and acquisitions. Incumbents perform a wide variety of duties associated with providing library service to the general public and may be assigned to specialized areas as necessary.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Education: Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Library Technology, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, or Liberal Arts.
Experience: One (1) year of increasingly responsible library clerical or technology assistant experience.
