This position performs as a business analyst in ESSP Production Support and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working on teams with computer systems and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

  • Collecting, maintaining, verifying, and analyzing system output and making recommendations for process or technical improvements.
  • Providing quality customer service to internal and external partners relative to batch operations and production systems.
  • Creating and maintain monthly statistics reports and participating and assisting with forecasting and trend analysis.
  • Planning, scheduling, and facilitating meetings, presentations and conference calls.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
  • Two years of experience communicating and working with team members on multiple organizational levels and across programs including technical staff and developers, business process owners, decision makers, and internal and external partners using a variety of methods (report writing, public speaking, and presentations)
  • Two years of experience in the role of team lead providing guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership for the purpose of achieving key objectives. Responsibilities include quality control, efficiency evaluations, problem resolution, and providing constructive feedback
  • Two years of experiencing researching, analyzing, and evaluating complex issues or data to create documents and reports offering alternative recommendations, solving problems, and identifying process improvements
  • Two years of experiencing using data analysis tools, including by not limited to Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, or Microsoft Excel

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) component.
  • Preference may be given for experience providing quality customer service.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is not telework eligible.

  • Interviewing applicants will also be expected to complete a work sample after their interview in total of the interview process.

SALARY: $47,667.96 - $65,859.12 / annually
