The AEGIS program at Leidos is s eeking an experienced Computer Systems Analyst to support unique High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments utilizing cluster management and job scheduling tools for supporting Engineering design projects at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The applicant will interface with MSFC users (engineers/scientists) and programmers in supporting and troubleshooting issues with compute tasks while maintaining least privileges and separation of duties.
Optimize, manage and support HPC related computational processing and jobs (SLURM / MSHPC).
Provide core systems administration automation for MSFC IT resources and laboratory environments.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve and maintain security compliance, including vulnerability mitigation, system hardening, and log collection/analysis.
Refresh and modernize end-of-life (EOL) operating systems and replace aged physical systems.
Maintain and modernize virtualization platforms.
Provide analysis related to the design, development, and integration of replacement systems, hardware, software and/or operating systems.
Utilize software solutions to perform continuous monitoring of compute and storage systems.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices for scientific data analysis and containerization.
Fair use and scheduling of HPC resources.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting computer systems analysis and systems management.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, programmers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand system architecture and technical drawings.
This position requires onsite support at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00
