Senior SAP Technical Lead – BIS and ECCN Solutions

This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of SAP-based solutions supporting finance, Business Integrity Screening, and Quote-to-Cash processes in a complex ERP landscape. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP technical expertise with strong business process knowledge and the ability to work independently with business and IT customer to define scope, shape solutions, and drive execution from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, and delivery of SAP solutions for compliance and Quote-to-Cash processes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical and operational solutions, including project scope, resource needs, and delivery timelines.
• Partner with business customers and IT teams to support large- and small-scale initiatives, resolve complex issues, and drive solution alignment.
• Evaluate information from various sources, reconcile conflicting inputs, and convert high-level concepts into detailed requirements, process flows, and implementation plans.
• Own technical solutioning across architecture, design, engineering efficiency, and continuous delivery practices in a complex ERP environment.
• Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including business and data requirements, user stories, functional designs, and process diagrams.
• Apply structured problem-solving techniques to technical, integration, and data-related challenges.
  

Required Qualifications

• 8–12 years of IT experience in complex enterprise environments, including at least 10 years of hands-on technical experience in SAP application development.
• Strong expertise in SAP NetWeaver fundamentals, Core and Advanced ABAP Programming, Restful ABAP Programming (RAP), SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering solutions in complex ERP landscapes, with end-to-end ownership of architecture, design, engineering efficiency, and development optimization.
• Good understanding of SAP modules including MM, SD, BIS, ECCN with business process experience in order management, Compliance and Legal Control Check
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and handle multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.

Technical and Domain Expertise

• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP reports development, including OOALV and SALV.
• Experience developing efficient ABAP code, performing performance tuning, and using relevant analytical and optimization tools.
• Strong expertise in SAP enhancements, BADI framework, and screen enhancements.
• Hands-on experience integrating external systems with SAP using RFC, IDOC, SOAP, and REST, including interface testing and fix integration failures.
• Experience with FI-CA Print Workbench and Adobe Forms.
• Working experience with SAP HANA, the Code-to-Data paradigm, Restful ABAP Programming, and SAP Fiori.
• Good understanding of Quote-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, and Business Integrity Screening and Export Control Classification Number.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; familiarity with JIRA is preferred.
• Exposure to AI capabilities is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in finance and revenue management domains, including automation initiatives.
• SAP BIS and ECCN expertise as a core strength; experience with other cloud applications is a plus.
• Experience working in complex integrated environments involving multiple SaaS applications supporting finance and revenue management.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence customers and guide teams through ambiguity and change.
