
The Performance and Integration Department, we integrate and qualify the performance of ASML lithography machines. This means all subsystems come together and being assembled and checked to meet specifications of our customers. These checks are done by dedicated groups for each individual performance parameter. One of the crucial system performance parameters: Productivity, varies and depends on the machine's options and upgrade configuration. Complete information with regards to machines expected vs actual performance is crucial in the platform's development & troubleshooting work. We are involved in the development of the tool for controlled configuration management. You will be a part of creating a tool which will be one of the important productivity competence fundamentals in the next 10-20 years at ASML.
Working together with the DUV Productivity team and configuration management team on development of Configuration Compliance tool. The goal of the project is to build a software application. The application should be able to handle complex data structures and link them to a data base.
Task may include but not limited to:
Quickly learn to operate in new software environments
Quickly deliver high quality work;
Propose your implementation solutions;
Work according to agile method with implementing solutions;
Take ownership of the product you are developing.
This is a Bachelor/Master internship for 6 months, working 4-5 days per week (3 days onsite). The internship can also be suitable for a thesis. The start date is as soon as possible, or the latest around September 2026.
To be a good match for this internship, you:
Are a bachelor's or master's student in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, or related;
Have very strong software coding skills;
Knowledge of Python, Java, SQL DB and rest API;
Good task and time management;
Are proactive with good analytical skills;
Are solution oriented and have a hands-on mentality;
Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
