COMPUTER ENGINEER
The company is seeking junior, mid-level, and senior Computer Engineers to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.
Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.
Communicate specific system requirements.
Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
Direct the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems.
Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.
Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability. Investigate system component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use.
Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software.
Configure servers to meet functional specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degreen (Master’s degree for senior position) in engineering or computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Programing
Minimum years of experience related to systems integration, verification, and testing on a Department of Defense (DoD) program, and devising test strategies, writing test plans, procedures and reports
Junior:5 years of experience
Mid-level:7 years of experience
Senior:10 years of experience
SECURITY CLEARANCE
·Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required
