HOW WILL YOU HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?
The Compressor Technician for both levels is responsible for modifying, repairing, and overhauling electronic or electrical equipment and controls. Technician performs routine, predictive, preventative, emergency maintenance and repairs all compression, electrical generators, and station ancillary equipment. Responsible for maintaining station parts and supply inventories. Technician ensures station compliance with all air quality and discharge permits, spill control policies, and regulations. The Compressor Technician will be under general supervision, perform troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance of gas compression equipment to ensure a continuous supply of natural gas to end users.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE?
Office, Warehouse & Compressor station indoor/outdoor environment. Must be available for callout 24/7 and emergency response to include working weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
Available to fill in Gas Control if/when needed. Will be exposed to extreme heat or cold, ambient temps.
-40 degrees to +115 degrees Fahrenheit, and engine temperatures can exceed 1100 degrees Fahrenheit. Will experience exposure to high noise levels < 110 decibels. Working with electrical voltages up to 480 volts AC. Will be exposed to outdoor elements, approximately 75% of the time. Often work alone in remote locations. Personal protective equipment needed, including, but not limited to, safety glasses, puncture resistance boots, and a hard hat worn while performing the field functions.
Manual dexterity is required to lift 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 50 lbs., and apply up to 600- foot lbs. of torque. Regularly required to stand and walk with the ability to bend, twist, balance, and climb. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and natural gas in certain situations. Ability to apply fine dexterity and visually inspect fine print to adjust controls and settings in a mechanical environment.
